Mr. and Mrs. Dunn contacted us to help them remodel their master bathroom. It was the first time they had ever had this kind of work done and both were anxious about getting contractors they could trust and who would offer the professional guidance they needed.

Starting with the first steps of our three­phase process we consulted them on the changes they wanted. We helped them with design ideas, presented them with the layout and came up with the final plans. From there we went through the process of ordering, scheduling, and construction, staying in close touch with the Dunns at all times to make sure the whole process was as stressfree for them as possible.

Our challenge, during the entirety of this project, was to make absolutely sure Mr. and Mrs. Dunn had a great experience, free of anxiety or stress. The first time someone has a room in their home remodeled they’re confronted by so many choices and potential confusions. We see it as a part of our job to guide the client through these barriers, answering any worries or concerns immediately and with precision. With clients new to the world of remodeling it becomes even more important for the project manager to stay in touch and answer questions.

Solution

During the first phase of our remodeling process we create a portfolio of everything we have discussed about the client’s remodeling. We make note of all the specific design features, such as layout, color scheme, and materials. We include things like tile color and design, fixtures, and flooring. This portfolio gives the client a visual way of making sure we haven’t missed anything and that progress is continuing as they expected. Mr. and Mrs. Dunn felt far more comfortable from demolition through completion, knowing they could always see that we were all on the same page.

Conclusion

From the first consultation through to the end of the master bath remodeling, Mr. and Mrs. Dunn knew they were in good hands. The clients had a stress­free experience and were happy throughout the process. The renovation went smoothly and without any major issues.
